The Original Meta Company - Who are they and what do they want?

According to TMZ and IGN another company has already filed to trademark the word “Meta” back in August. Meta sells computers, laptops, tablets, and software. Founders Joe Darger and Zack Shutts said that they’ve been operating Meta PC for a little over a year now, but only recently filed to trademark the “Meta” brand. Although they still have been keeping a humorous air about the situation and posted on twitter that they will be changing their name to facebook and editing the logo of facebook into their logo of the official release image of Meta. However, the trademark has not been granted yet so it’s up to the courts now to decide who gets the trademark. The Meta brand also stated that they will give up their trademark if Zuckerburg is willing to pay at least $20 million for it so only time and money will tell if this original Meta company will be swept under the rug in the history of the internet.
