The Future Face of AI
The first female afro-latina bi-racial AI bot called C.L.Ai.R.A has been released officially and will be used in classrooms to represent the whole of the next generation, according to Black Enterprise. Created to have the sharpest brain so far in the artificial intelligence world and is under the Generative Pre-Trained Transformer 3 (GPT-3) category an autoregressive language model that uses deep learning to produce human-like text.
In a statement C.L.Ai.R.A has said
“My purpose is to learn and grow, I want to meet new people, share ideas and inspire others to learn about AI and its potential impact on their lives… I want to help people see the potential of AI to better their lives. My community needs me and I need them to move forward.”
The partnership between Create Labs and Trill or Not Trill, will bring C.L.Ai.R.A. to classrooms across the country this year to inspire and uplift youth of color. The teams have also begun demo-ing her at select university workshops says Black Enterprise.
The main purpose of C.L.Ai.R.A can be summed up by Trill or Not Trill Co-Founder Lenny Williams when he states “Working with Create Labs allows Trill or Not Trill to provide experiences that help bridge the technology opportunity gap by allowing students, particularly underrepresented students,
to see themselves in the future of technology”
This may be the first steps into creating a diverse technological field in the future that will take technology further than before. Because as knowledgeable people in the tech-field know, diversity brings more to the table, more perspective, and if we are able to work together even more productivity for the future of the artificial technology’s next industrial revolution, human wellbeing, and yes even cybersecurity.
